HOW POTENZA WORKS

Insulated microneedles penetrate to a physician-selected depth (0.5–4 mm). At the target depth, radiofrequency energy is released into the tissue, generating focal heat. This heat denatures collagen in the immediate zone; triggering the thermal injury response that produces new collagen, elastin, and extracellular matrix components. The skin surface remains largely undamaged. Studies report clinically significant improvement in skin laxity scores and acne scar severity after 1–3 sessions.

IS THERE DOWNTIME?

Redness and mild swelling for 24–72 hours. The treated area may feel warm and slightly rough for a few days. Most patients return to normal activities within 2–3 days. Mineral SPF is essential post-treatment.

– Stop retinoids and AHAs 5 days before
– Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks before
– No active skin infections or acne in the treatment area

AFTER YOUR SESSION

– SPF 50+ every day for at least 2 weeks
– Gentle fragrance-free products only for 72 hours
– No active skincare ingredients for 5 days post-treatment
