PROFHILO TREATMENT IN ABU DHABI

Profhilo is the highest-concentration injectable hyaluronic acid product on the market — 64 mg/2 ml of ultra-pure HA in a patented NAHYCO® hybrid formulation. It is not a filler. It adds no volume, lifts nothing, and does not change your facial structure. What it does is remodel the dermal matrix: stimulating four collagen types and elastin simultaneously while flooding the tissue with sustained hydration. The result is skin that functions better at a fundamental level — more elastic, more resilient, and visibly more luminous.

The Bio Aesthetic Point (BAP) injection technique — 5 specific anatomical landmarks per side of the face — allows the product to spread evenly through tissue rather than sitting as a localised bolus. Correct BAP placement requires anatomical knowledge that comes from clinical training, not a beauty course.

WHY HOUSE OF SKINCARE FOR PROFHILO

Profhilo is a physician-administered injectable. The BAP points sit close to facial vessels and nerves — precise placement reduces bruising and ensures even tissue distribution. Dr. Al Zaabi has performed this protocol extensively. If you have existing filler or recent injectable treatments, she will assess timing and any interaction considerations before treatment.

HOW PROFHILO WORKS

The NAHYCO® hybrid complex contains both high molecular weight (H-HA) and low molecular weight (L-HA) hyaluronic acid bound together without chemical crosslinkers. H-HA provides sustained hydration; L-HA stimulates fibroblast, adipocyte, and keratinocyte activity. Together they stimulate production of collagen types I, III, IV, and VII plus elastin — a broader remodelling effect than any standard filler. Unlike crosslinked fillers, Profhilo spreads within the tissue rather than staying put, remodelling the quality of skin over a wider area from each injection point.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?

The standard protocol is 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Results develop progressively and last 6–12 months. Maintenance: 1–2 sessions per year to sustain the remodelling effect.

IS THERE DOWNTIME?

Minimal. Small injection site bumps flatten within a few hours. Mild bruising is possible. Most patients return to normal activities immediately. Avoid makeup on the injection sites for 12 hours.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

– Avoid blood-thinning supplements 5 days before to reduce bruising
– No alcohol 24 hours before
– No facial massage or heat treatments for 24 hours before

AFTER YOUR SESSION

– Do not massage the face for 48 hours
– Avoid intense heat (sauna, steam, hot yoga) for 48 hours
– Apply SPF 50+ when going out
